Who are we and what do we do?
AL\ZE is an AI-powered recruitment platform. Our mission is to connect employers and candidates through an automated, ethical and objective interview process.
An employer posts a job offer by filling in their expectations, the job description and domain-specific tests if needed. A unique link is generated and sent to candidates. Each candidate completes an interview with our AI, which interacts with them in real time and adapts its questions based on their responses and the job requirements. At the end, the candidate receives a score out of 100 based solely on their skills and performance.
AL\ZE acts as data controller for all personal data collected on the platform. Contact: privacy@alize.ai
What data do we collect?
Employer data
- Account info: name, email, company name
- Job postings: title, description, criteria, tests
- History of generated interviews and results
Candidate data
- Identity: first name, last name, email
- Interview data: AI transcript, duration, test answers
- Score out of 100 and breakdown by criterion
- Technical data: IP address, browser, timestamp
Consent data
- Date of Terms acceptance, version accepted, sign-up channel

Why do we use this data?
AI interviews
Conduct personalised interviews and assess candidates against job-specific criteria.
Scoring & reports
Generate a score out of 100 based solely on skills — no discriminatory criteria.
Sharing results
Provide the interview report and score to the employer who posted the offer.
Service improvement
Analyse interactions to improve interview quality and evaluation algorithms.

Meet our legal obligations, prevent fraud and ensure platform security.
Our ethical & CSR commitment
AL\ZE is designed to eliminate discriminatory bias from recruitment. Our AI evaluates candidates exclusively on their skills, responses and performance — nothing else.
- No physical, ethnic, gender or origin criteria are taken into account
- Scoring is based solely on pre-determined, transparent criteria
- Each candidate receives their score and full breakdown
- Interview data is not used to train third-party models without explicit consent
This approach is aligned with the EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689), which prohibits discriminatory AI systems in recruitment.
Data Protection Officer (DPO)
AL\ZE has not yet appointed a DPO. As an early-stage startup, we are not subject to this obligation under Article 37 of the GDPR.

Sub-processors & data transfers
Each provider processes data as a sub-processor under GDPR-compliant contracts.
Database, authentication and file storage. Data hosted in Europe.
Frontend hosting and deployment.
Google OAuth authentication. Only name, email and Google ID transmitted.
The AI model conducting interviews. Transcripts are sent to generate questions and scoring. Provider to be confirmed.
All transfers outside the EU are covered by standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
